Meet the Volunteer Fire Squad

Brad Ellsworth has lived in Green City for 9 1/2

years and has been a member of the Fire

Department for 9 years. He is Basic firefighter and

vehicle extrication technician trained as well as

Hazmat Operations certified.

 Robert Ayers, 28 years old. Been a firefighter for about 6 years, lived in Gc for about 15 years. I love doing the fire department to help save people. I’ve been through basic firefighter training and also a vehicle extrication technician which means I’m qualified to run the jaws of life 

My name is Diana Lewis I grew up in green city mo. I have two kids Dustin Richards and Reese Ayers. I am engaged to Robert Ayers. My senior year in 2009 I wanted to join the fire dept. and was working on getting my EMT. Life happened I didn’t accomplish either one. 9 years later I joined green city fire dept. and started on getting my EMT again. I got my EMT in 2018 since then I’ve worked for Sullivan Co Ambulance, Putnam Co Ambulance, and Macon Co Ambulance. In Macon Co I also work in the ER as an ERT. I have my EMT I am cpr certified. I have my basic fire certificate, vehicle extrication certificate. I am ERT certified. I do some first responding when I’m home. I am also currently working on getting my RN.

Michael O'Haver and his family have lived in Green City for 2 yrs. He is the City Supervisor for Green City and a new member of the Volunteer Fire Department
